3kW Solar System
- 5-6 × 585W panels
- Approx. 10-15 units/day
- 3-4kW inverter
Compare residential, commercial and industrial solar system sizes from 3kW to 100kW. Each package includes estimated panel count, expected daily generation range, typical use and an indicative installed budget.
Start with the nearest capacity, then open the dedicated package page for full details.
Actual quotations differ, but a proper system proposal should clearly identify every major component.
Exact brand, model, wattage, quantity, technology and warranty.
Capacity, type, MPPT count, phase, battery support and warranty.
Structure, DC/AC cable, breakers, SPD, earthing, DBs and installation labor.
Optional for many systems. Quote usable kWh, chemistry, current limits and warranty separately.
A complete solar system price in Pakistan is different from the cost of panels alone. Installed budgets can include PV modules, inverter, mounting structure, DC/AC protection, cabling, earthing, installation labor and optional battery storage. The package cards above are planning references; final quotations depend on component brands and site conditions.
A 3kW system is commonly considered for smaller homes or lower daytime loads. Compare expected generation, available roof area and whether battery backup is required.
5kW is a common residential benchmark. The final cost changes significantly with panel model, hybrid versus on-grid inverter, structure quality and whether lithium storage is included.
These sizes can suit homes with higher daytime use. Use actual load and electricity-unit data rather than selecting a package only because it matches a round kW number.
10kW systems are considered for larger homes and small commercial loads. Confirm single/three-phase requirements, inverter architecture, export rules and protection scope in every quotation.
An on-grid package normally focuses on daytime solar generation and grid interaction without a large battery bank. A hybrid package adds battery-ready or battery-integrated functionality and can cost more. Off-grid systems depend heavily on storage and backup design, so battery capacity can become one of the largest cost components.
Panel count depends on system capacity and module wattage. As a simple example, a nominal 5kW array built with 500W modules is around ten panels before final design adjustments. With higher-wattage modules, fewer panels may be required. Final string design must remain within the inverter's voltage and current limits.
Panel and inverter brand, module wattage, hybrid/on-grid topology, battery storage, roof type, structure material, cable length, surge protection, earthing, DB work, labor, transport and warranty scope can all change the final installed price. Ask for an itemized quotation so different installers can be compared on the same basis.
Do not size a system from monthly bill value alone because tariffs change. Monthly electricity units (kWh), daytime load profile, roof space, backup requirements and sanctioned connection should guide the design. Use our solar load calculator for a starting estimate, then request a site-specific installation quote.
A final installed price depends on brand selection, roof structure, cable runs, protection equipment, battery choice, site location and installer scope. Use the detailed pages to compare specifications before requesting quotes.
